My daughter’s favorite apex predator now in an easy to take everywhere book. Great illustrations and a lovely story encourages her love of reading, just like all of The Good and the Beautiful books.
Beautiful story!
My son absolutely loved this book and asked if there are any more like it. This story seems to be one of a kind. We would love to see more stories like this in Level 3 or 4 about animals in the north woods (wolves, eagles).
[Review of Wolf in the North Woods]
Good story
This teaches you about the life of a wolf, as it spans from birth to learning to hunt. An interesting book that engaged both of my sons (4 & 6 yrs). I really love that the book has reading-level appropriate words so that my 6 yo can begin reading it on his own. There are a handful of words that I have to help him with, but most of the larger words that he’s never seen before he is able to use his phonics skills to figure them out.
My son decided to read it all in one day
My kids don’t choose to read sadly. But when we got this for the summer reading I told him I got a book we can read together and he sat down to read the first chapter and just wanted to continue to read. He loved learning about wolves and it made reading enjoyable.
Amazing - This was the 1st book to get my son interested in reading!
