Every level of math includes 120 lessons divided into units, followed by an assessment at the end of each unit. Throughout the entire math program, students slowly gain independence as lessons progress from being parent-led in Math K through 3 to student-led in Math 4 and above.
Lessons are simple, yet powerful, and connect math to nature, art, and real-world situations. They also exceed most national math standards!

Spiral Math
Simply Good and Beautiful Math takes a spiral approach to learning. In each lesson a student learns and practices a new concept and also reviews previous concepts. By spiraling back to previous lessons and lower-level courses in this way, students continue to review what they have learned and build upon previous knowledge.

Simply Good and Beautiful Math K–3
Our Levels K–3 parent-led math courses feature short, effective lessons using stories, games, fun activities, and a simple box with fun manipulatives for a hands-on, interactive approach to learning.
Simply Good and Beautiful Math 4–7
In Levels 4–6, students begin each lesson by watching a video, which includes interactive guided practice completed in the course book. Each video features an engaging theme to make the content relatable to the student.
The lesson also includes a concise, written mini lesson. Students can refer to the mini lesson for help during the lesson practice. Or they can choose to skip the video completely and use just the mini lesson if they already understand that day’s concept. Sometimes parents choose to teach their children using only the mini lesson.
After the lesson, students complete Lesson Practice and Review pages. Parents then check their child’s work with the answer key included in the course set. We have incorporated reviews, games, logic activities, and puzzles throughout the course, and students will find assessments at the end of each unit.

What year are fractions presented?
Thank you for your interest, Laurel! Fractions are introduced in our Simply Good and Beautiful Math, Level 3 Course, in Lesson 23. Simply Good and Beautiful Math is mainly a spiral curriculum, constantly reviewing concepts your student has learned to ensure he or she understands and retains the information so you will find lots of practice throughout the course and into the next level. We hope you enjoy the course!
I am going to be a new homeschool mom in the Fall. My boys will be in 7th and 11th grades. Do you have the curriculum that both of them will need? They are both on grade level. I don’t see a lot for the high school grades online, but I’m not the best at navigating websites either. I would rather keep them in the same curriculum.

I started homeschooling almost 4 years ago. We started with a mix of curriculum that I thought was fitting our needs. We kept eliminating the ones that wasn’t working and increasing the ones that were working. We love TGTB and have a large stash of it, if that tells you what works. Our favorite is the math and LA. Also all the books. My son is doing so well in his classes and understanding so fluidly thanks to TGTB wonderful way of presenting it.
I absolutely LOVE Good and Beautiful MATH PROGRAM! We completed Level 4 – 6 and prayjing for grades 7-12!📚
Its a COLORFUL curriculum … reinforcing the fundamentals of math in every lesson .. I suggest when starting the program .. start with the placement test to find their real mastery level vs grade level. If child is struggling or avoiding math … their struggle is real … they may need to go back to earlier levels to build those foundations … confidence is everything! That confidence builds excitement and a WINNING environment! The recipe for a happy Homeschooler!
