Why Our Country Needs The Good and the Beautiful Constitution Course

Many of you already using The Good and The Beautiful in your homes know that the main mission and heartbeat behind the company is equipping you to give your children a good and beautiful education. An education based on truth. Based on honor. Based on Christ and His attributes. 

What has changed in education?

It is widely known that public and even private education has evolved greatly over the last 50 years. Would you believe me, however, if I told you the facts of what has been changed or removed just in the last few? Especially regarding the teachings of history and our country’s beginnings? A lot of what we have witnessed in this country over the last two years has a direct correlation to this change in education. Do you know what it is?

A LACK OF UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

So many societal issues can be traced to a lack of understanding about the principles our country was founded on. Why was the constitution even created in the first place? What is it designed to do? What does it protect? More importantly, why do we need to uphold it?

There have been constant attacks on the character and morals of our founding fathers and additionally, flat-out attempts to erase the foundations of our great nation. This generation of children is growing up in an environment much different than the one you and I did, let alone in the stark contrast of a country our great-grandparents grew up in.

We are experiencing and witnessing a nation that lacks patriotism and appreciation for those who have gone before us. And though imperfect, we are lacking a deep reverence and respect due to the great men and women who founded this amazing nation we call home.

Why it is important to learn about the US Constitution

I can’t think of a more important time to be teaching our children the truth behind the American Constitution and the men who created it. If our children do not know or understand the value of these foundations, how can they ever be expected to uphold them?

After viewing just one lesson of The Good and the Beautiful US Constitution and Government Course, I was in awe. I had tears in my eyes, a passion burning in my heart, and the drive to share this with everyone I know. I truly believe this course should be taught to every American citizen no matter their age. It empowers families as they learn together, evoking wonderful conversations. It brings tears as you read the truth behind the American Constitution. But more than anything, it gives your children the truth and beauty their education deserves.

As former President Ronald Reagan said: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We did not pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and children’s children what it was once like in the USA where men were free.”

This is the way we fight. We fight for and protect freedom by teaching our children these truths. The Good and the Beautiful US Constitution and Government Course was created for such a time as this. Let us equip our children with the knowledge defending their freedom requires. I couldn’t think of anything they deserve more.
