These books are all published by The Good and the Beautiful Library and are designed to appeal to children in grades 5–8. Lessons will prompt students when to read these optional books, but they are not integrated with the lessons.

Details:

Through interactive learning and simple experimentation, children explore the basics of chemistry in this 14-lesson unit. Each open-and-go lesson is filled with discoveries about how our world is affected by molecular-level changes. This course features step-by-step lesson instructions, captivating unit videos, and a video option for all experiments, making teaching chemistry easy and fun. This unit is recommended for Grades 5–8, though some younger children may enjoy participating. (Note: Most The Good and the Beautiful science units are family style for Grades 3-8.)
