Wonderful book
My kids 6 and 4 loved this book and I did too. We used this book as a read a loud book. We all loved the adventure of the siblings on the ranch especially the bear part. We all enjoyed the illustrations to go along with the story.

This is a wonderful story of sibling adventures in a time and life that my children are not accustomed to! Now I have requests to make homemade rootbeer that I probably can’t oblige! Haha

My 7, 5, and 3 yrs olds LOVED this book, and I did as well! It had us laughing. The kids begged to read the next chapter after each one.
The story was engaging, and encouraged creativity and adventure outdoors. It also gave a look into the way people used to live. We can’t wait for the next book!
