Helen Keller—Into the Light
by Shannen Yauger
Such an inspirational story
My kid loved how she persevered through all her difficulties. We took a trip to the library in search of braille book.
Beautiful telling
Both of my children loved learning about Helen Keller. They were inspired to see someone who went through so much and persevere. I am thankful that the Good and Beautiful retold this story! We might go through hard seasons in life, but with the right kind of people by our side, we can face anything.
Short but Sweet
This book may not have alot of length but it is a beautiful story of Helen Keller’s life. My daughter didn’t know much about her and this book helped. It is written beautifully to where it is an inspiration on top of showing how to be grateful. My daughter wanted to research her after to learn even more.
Wonderful for new readers
We watched a short video on Helen Keller once and my kids were so amazed at how much she overcame. When I saw this in the bookstore, I was so excited and bought it right away. It follows suit with the rest of Good and the Beautiful material by teaching wonderful lessons with descriptive words and gorgeous illustrations.
Wonderful!
Wonderful little biography about an amazing woman! My daughter is in 2nd grade and it was perfect!
