Helen Keller—Into the Light
by Shannen Yauger
First book we read from TGTB!
My kids and I read this together years ago and it was one of the first books I bought that made me keep buying! Perfect for early readers and great illustrations!
Such a great short story
This is a great abridged version of the Helen Keller story for younger readers. My daughter loved this book. She read it cover to cover in a day.
My daughter fell in love with biographies after reading this book!
My daughter was a reluctant reader and this was one of the books that gave her confidence and started her love for reading! Now she is an avid reader!
Wonderful kid approved
I read this book to my 8yo, 6yo, and 5yo. It held all their attention through the whole book, and they asked many questions about everything along the way. Highly recommend for an introduction to Helen Keller for young kids. We thoroughly enjoyed it and my kids have asked me to read it again.
Interesting Read about an Amazing girl
I loved how it showed how she used different techniques because she was blind and deaf. -Hazel
