Science: Choose Your Unit

The full-color Course Book guides the parent through each lesson in the Health and the Physical Body science course. Hands-on activities, vocabulary words, access to captivating videos, mini books, beautiful illustrations and images, along with engaging information is found throughout the course. Once you gather any simple lesson supplies, the lessons are open-and-go. Just turn to a lesson and start reading and learning together! This course is taught family-style and only one Course Book is needed per family.

Each student grades 3–6 needs their own copy of the Health and the Physical Body Student Journal which includes interactive activities, games, and worksheets the child will complete during the lessons. The parent-led lessons in the Course Book will direct the student regarding when to complete the Student Journal activities.

50 Amazing Facts About Bones is a comprehensive book about bone anatomy and physiology. Full of illustrations, diagrams, sketches, and X-ray images, this book is thorough enough to engage a curious first-time bone explorer and enrich a student's current skeletal study. (29 pages, full-color, 11"x8.5")

These books are all published by The Good and the Beautiful Library and are designed to appeal to children in grades K–8. Lessons will prompt students when to read these optional books, but they are not integrated with the lessons.
