The full-color Course Book guides the parent through each lesson in the Geology science course. Hands-on activities, engaging videos, vocabulary words, beautiful illustrations and images, along with engaging information is found throughout the course. Once you gather any simple lesson supplies, the lessons are open-and-go. Just turn to a lesson and start reading and learning together! This course is taught family-style and only one Course Book is needed per family.

The Good and the Beautiful Rocks and Minerals KitThis kit is incorporated into the course and lessons throughout. Using the testing tools, six minerals, and three rocks included in the kit, lessons will prompt children to observe and test different materials, providing hands-on experiences with geology. Items in the kit include 9 rock or mineral specimens (talc, gypsum, chalcopyrite, fluorite, quartz, aquamarine, igneous: granite, sedimentary: limestone, metamorphic: slate), 1 streak plate, 1 copper nail, and 1 steel nail.⚠️WARNING: SHARP POINTS HAZARD Product contains functional sharp points.     Cut apart the vocabulary words now, so they are ready to be placed on your science wall. The course tells you when to use these.

    Each consumable Science Activity Book correlates to a Good and Beautiful grades 3-8 science unit, with every 2-page spread in the activity book corresponding to a lesson in the science unit. However, the activity books are not integrated into the unit and can be used independently.
