Welcome to The Good and the Beautiful Health and the Human Mind

This family-style course is fun and simple to teach!

Discover how our minds were wonderfully made to be creative, think, and express our emotions.

Learn about your five senses and make 3-D models of your nerves and brain to see how your body sends and receives messages.

Have fun learning about Health and the Human Mind in this 12-lesson unit!

Required Items

  • Science Unit Study

    One unit study book needed per family.

  • Grades 3–6 Student Journal

    One student journal needed per child in grades 3–6.

  • Grades 7–8 Student Journal

    One student journal needed per child in grades 7–8.

*Copyright: If you use this science course in a group setting, you must purchase an physical copy of the unit book for each set of eight children in the class. You must purchase a student journal for each child who will be completing the unit.

Health and the Human Mind Unit Information

  • Student Journal

    Each student needs his or her own student journal. Lessons direct the child when to complete the activities in the journal.

  • Lesson Preparation

    Just open and go! Your Health and the Human Mind Science Unit Study arrives wire bound. Each student needs his or her own perfect bound Student Journal.

  • Science Wall Vocabulary

    Cut apart the vocabulary words now, so they are ready to be placed on your science wall. The course tells you when to use these.

  • Activities

    Engage children with hands-on activities. Always use appropriate adult supervision. A complete supply list is found here.

  • For Younger Children

    Some lessons include extra content for younger children (grades 3–6). Parents or teachers may choose to skip this content if instructing only older children.

  • For Older Children

  • Unit Videos
