How This Course Works

Daily Routine
This 120-lesson course was designed to be done 4–5 days a week.
The time needed to complete coursework each day will vary greatly according to each child.
Sample schedule for an average child:
5 minutes:Â Parent/Teacher Section for the child to complete with a parent or teacher
15 minutes:Â Student Section for the child to complete independently
20 minutes:Â Personal Reading for the child to complete during any time of the day, not necessarily during the lesson
15 minutes:Â Spelling Workshop or Writing Workshop for the child to complete, which concludes the lesson
Check the child’s work on a daily basis, giving feedback, and if/when needed, adjust the level of parental involvement. Occasionally quiz the child on Geography & Grammar Cards to assess progress.Â
Lessons instruct the child when to use the items in the Level Five Book Box.
