How This Course Works

Lesson Pacing
The lessons are laid out in an easy-to-use format. Simply open the book each day and follow the instructions, learning along with the child. Blue text is instructions to you, the parent. Black text is what you read to the child.
For additional tips for teaching young children read the Frequently Asked Questions found in the About This Course pages of the Kindergarten Prep Course Book.

Easy-to-use Format
The lessons are laid out in an easy-to-use format. Blue text indicates instructions to you, the teacher, and black text is what you read to the child. While a child in The Good and the Beautiful Language Arts Level 1 course needs more one-on-one time with you, he or she also has independent work to do with each lesson.
Lessons prompt you when to use the Reading Booster B Cards and Books, the Homeschool App, and the Letter Tiles app.
